Redmi 4 Prime 3 GB RAM Snapdragon 625 Price 8999 Launched (Mumbai, India 4th Nov)  – Xiaomi as expected has launched new Redmi Devices today in China.

Xiaomi has launched 3 new smartphones – Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 and the Redmi 4 Prime. The Redmi 4 is successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 3. Notably the Redmi 3 never went on sale in India instead Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3s and 3s prime. Both are top selling mobiles in India.

XIAOMI REDMI 4 PRIME:

Redmi 4 Prime 3 GB RAM Snapdragon 625 Price 8999 – The Redmi 4 Prime comes with an improved design and has all metal body. The smartphone looks elegant and sleek and will be available in grey, gold and dark grey colors.

Apart from having stunning design and looks the Redmi 4 Prime excels in performance and battery life. The Redmi 4 Prime is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.0 GH.

The Snapdragon 625 processor is the latest SOC manufactured using 14nm process and is very energy efficient.

It is the same processor used in much expensive smartphones like Asus Zenfone 3 (Rs. 21999) and Moto Z play priced Rs. 24999.

On the other hand the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime comes at incredibly low price of 899 CNY or Rs. 8999.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime comes with a 5.0 inch Full HD display (1920*1080) with IPS LCD panel. The smartphone has got 2.5 glass on top of the display.

The other notable feature is the large battery capacity – 4100 mAH in size which can last all day easily.

Redmi 4 Prime comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and led flash at the back. There is a 5 mega pixel camera at the front to click selfies.

The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS along with the Xiaomi MIUI skin on top.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime comes with 3 GB Of RAM and has support for 4G LTE as well as VOLTE.

The Smartphone offers 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128 GB using a micro-sd card.

XIAOMI REDMI 4:

Redmi 4 also comes is a lower variant which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with 2 GB Ram.

In contrast, The Snapdragon 625 variant offers 3 GB ram. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128 GB using a micro-sd card.

The lower variant is priced at Rs 6999 or CNY 699. The Redmi 4 offers dual sim support and has 4G LTE as well as VOLTE connectivity.

The Redmi 4 has a 5.0 Inch IPS LCD Display with HD resolution instead of the Full HD resolution on the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.

All the remaining specs are same for the devices are the same. Both the devices have a quick fingerprint scanner at the back which can unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds.

Xiaomi has also launched another smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 4A with slightly modest specs and price. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 425 along with 2 GB ram and 16 GB internal storage.

The Redmi 4 Prime and Redmi 4 looks impressive as far as the specs goes and pricing is predatory to knock out competition. The smartphones will go on sale on November 7 in China.
